I am a certified travel advisor with 16 years of enjoying the world through cruising. Drifting by castles on the Rhine and dancing in the street at a wine festival in Zell; walking down small, twisting streets with half-timbered buildings adorned by window boxes exploding with colorful flowers; gazing out windows at palace gardens whose residents had ruled empires in Russia and France; experiencing a sunset in Santorini, Greece and walking through the century old marketplace in Istanbul are just a few of my most recent escapades from my last 3 cruises in Europe. Discovering there are 2 different ways to cook Nuremberg sausages and savoring a soup in Prague that was an old family recipe updated with the addition of a hint of orange liqueur. For me, the coolest thing I can do is say,"I've been there!", when I watch the travel shows on TV. Without the benefit of multiple ports on a cruise, it would take me simply ages to visit all the wonderful cities I have experienced.
These trips fuel my passion is to assist discerning cruisers find the best cruise opportunity to make their own memories: whether they are traveling solo, as a couple, or in a group.
My best interpretation of what you can expect on a cruise is the surge your senses will experience by traveling on the water. Very few (if any) other opportunities exist in the world that will allow you to see multiple cities, countries or even continents in the same trip, all while unpacking only once!
Whether visiting historical locations; expanding your culinary senses; shopping; attending cultural events (both in port and on the ship); physical activities from snorkeling to fishing; or choosing to simply relax or get pampered in a spa - cruising offers something for everyone!
